On the 9th November 2010, Minimal Risk Consultancy Limited became one of the inaugural Private Security Companies to subscribe to the International Code of Conduct (ICoC) for Private Security Service Providers hosted by the Swiss Government in Geneva.
In the UK Minimal Risk is working with the recently formed Security in Complex Environment Group (SCEG) to develop robust internationally endorsed and accountable systems to preserve Human Rights; setting key standards for ethical behaviour, accountability and transparency across our industry.
The identified template on which to base a system of self regulation is embodied within the Internationally recognised standard of ISO9001, adopted by Minimal Risk in 2006.
Bob Cole, Managing Director of Minimal Risk advocates "As fresh challenges emerge globally we at Minimal Risk welcome this initiative. Through adhering to its principles the smaller and potentially more specialised companies within the industry will be able to compete more effectively with the large corporates as standards become more open to scrutiny and uniform providing reassurance both to our clients and the concerned observers of our industry alike".
